Mau Rākau - Homework for the boys.

Whakataka Te Hau - Te Rangatahi
Today we sang the waiata - karakia "Whakataka te Hau." This is a beautiful rendition of the karakia, we recorded this for classes to sing along with before this Friday's school assembly. He manutioriori tātou! We are beginning to sound like songbirds!

Pokarekare ana - Counter Harmony parts
Today we focused on singing the counter harmony parts to the classic waiata - Pōkarekare ana. This waiata can be heard anywhere in the world where New Zealanders are gathered. Tinō pai Te Rangatahi, sounding good!

Te Rangatahi - Haka Powhiri
Today's session for Te Rangatahi was a continuation of learning our Haka Powhiri - we are certainly getting there - okea ururoatia! (don't give up!). It's sounding awesome :)
